Arts and Crafts
One of the countless joys of sharing my time with my beautiful Mini Me is that she absolutely loves arts and crafts! She just loves to create! So we decided to make these pretty and practical Flower Pens for the kitchen. We are forever searching for a pen, and we can NEVER find them. Now, we'll never have to search again!
We picked some festive fall flowers for our arrangement - lucky for us, Walmart sells them for $3.00/dozen! Then we chose a flower pot to match our flowers, and filled the pot with black beans (to keep the pens in place).
We snipped the flowers from the stems, leaving about an inch or two of stem so we could attach them to the pens. Then we used floral tape to wrap the pens, to make them look like stems. Mini Me put the finishing touches on our beautiful arrangement by placing them in the flower pot.
We had so much fun, we even made a second arrangement for Mini Me's teacher, who is an extremely loyal Texas Aggie. (My apologies to any Longhorn fans who may be reading...)
It was a fun and simple project! We're looking forward to making more crafts very soon. Stay tuned... :)
